Designed by Ferruccio Laviani for Kartell. The Bourgie lamp with its classic inspiration, is a revisiting of a baroque lamp. The revolutionary aspect of this lamp is that it is made entirely in transparent polycarbonate. The quality of the material and the extremely high-quality processing make it look like a precious, crystal lamp. The large shade is made with a plisse effect, to create a play on reflections when lit. The Bourgie can be assembled at three different heights. It can be used on a side table, or placed on a bedside table for evocative bedroom lighting, and can also be placed directly on the floor. Light intensity is adjustable through a switch dimmer.
